About Gabriella's Angels of Hope

Gabriella's Angel's of Hope was born when Bianca asked me to help her draft a letter to Lakewood Memorial Park, where Gabriella is buried regarding their policy on recognized holidays.  During recognized holiday periods, visitors are able to leave flowers, gifts and momentos at the resting site of their loved one for an extended period of time.  There is a day to recognize, mommy's, daddy's, and veterns, but why not our angel babies?

I spoke with a gentleman at Lakewood, by the name of Mike who couldn't agree more. He told me he would look into the policy and told me he had a few ideas and would get back to me. A few days later he called back with his idea, why not start a memorial in Gabriella's honor to remember all the babies who were taken too soon?  We were so touched that he would help our family do this in memory of our angel baby.  They offered their services and agreed to do whatever we felt we could/ or wanted to do.  I relayed his idea to Bianca and we began our work.

It is a devestating loss when a parent loses a child who was so wanted and loved. Yet, it is still a taboo subject, and I think that makes it even harder for the grieving parents who long to hear their childs name spoken, to know they aren't forgotten.  We hope through Gabriella's Angels of Hope to remember our angel, bring comfort to those who have experienced the same kind of loss, and to raise awareness about baby loss.

If you see Bianca and Job, let them know you are thinking of them, it is OK to speak Gabriella's name. She is their baby, she is loved and she will never be forgotten.
